Pulsar has invested in an Asclepion medical laser platform to strengthen our tattoo removal, permanent makeup removal, pigmentation and laser skin rejuvenation services.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation in Chorley

Laser skin rejuvenation is designed to improve the overall appearance of suitable skin concerns through controlled treatment and a personalised skin plan.

Depending on assessment, treatment may help improve the visible appearance of:

Sun damage and age spots
Freckles and selected pigmentation
Dull or uneven-looking skin
Texture and enlarged-looking pores
Fine lines and visible photo-ageing
Selected scars and post-acne texture

Not every pigment or skin condition should be treated with laser. Melasma, active inflammation and complex pigmentation require careful assessment and may need an alternative pathway.

A joined-up skin pathway

Acne, Freckles, Pigmentation & Sun Damage

Your concern may need laser, IPL, a facial, LED, prescription skincare or a combination plan. We choose the pathway after assessing the skin rather than applying the same treatment to everyone.

Acne & Breakouts

Acne-focused facials, LED support, barrier care and referral for medical skin advice where appropriate.

Frequently asked questions

Before You Book

What is active nanosecond laser technology?

It is a medical laser technology that delivers controlled energy in extremely short nanosecond pulses. At Pulsar, it supports tattoo and permanent makeup removal, selected pigment treatments and fractional laser skin rejuvenation.

Is active nanosecond laser the same as pico laser?

No. Nanosecond and picosecond describe different pulse durations. The right treatment depends on more than the word used to market a machine, including wavelength, energy delivery, pigment, skin type, depth and clinical technique. Pulsar uses a medical-grade active nanosecond Asclepion platform and will explain whether it is suitable for your concern.

Can laser skin rejuvenation treat freckles and sun damage?

Selected freckles, age spots and sun-related pigmentation may be suitable following consultation. Some pigmentation conditions require a different approach, and not every dark mark should be treated with laser.

Can you treat active acne and acne scarring?

We offer acne-focused skin treatments, LED and skin planning, with access to dermatology-led support where appropriate. Laser rejuvenation may be considered for selected post-acne pigmentation, texture or scarring after active inflammation is controlled and suitability has been assessed.

Do you remove eyebrow tattoos and eyeliner?

Yes. We offer eyebrow tattoo, permanent makeup and selected eyeliner tattoo removal at our Chorley clinic. A consultation and patch test are required because cosmetic pigments can respond differently from body tattoo ink.

Which clinic should I book?

Chorley is the main clinic for active nanosecond tattoo removal, PMU removal, laser skin rejuvenation, diode laser hair removal, advanced skin and body treatments, Map My Mole and Dr. Rehab consultations. Horwich offers selected IPL, hair removal, skin and fungal nail services.

Do I need a consultation or patch test?

Most laser and IPL treatments require a consultation, and many require a patch test. This allows us to assess suitability, review your medical history and explain treatment expectations and aftercare.
